Golfing for the Students

Ocean County Commissioner Virginia E. Haines, liaison to the Ocean County Vocational Technical Schools, brought well wishes from the Ocean County Board of Commissioners to all the attendees participating in the Ocean County Foundation for Vocational Technical Education annual golf outing fund raiser at the Atlantis County Golf Course in Little Egg Harbor Township on Oct. 10. The Ocean County Foundation for Vocational Technical Education is a non-profit organization dedicated to help ensure a quality education for students of the Ocean County Vocational Technical School. Its mission is to augment, supplement and complement the programs of the Ocean County Vocational Technical Schools through the attraction of private resources for the exclusive benefit of its students and staff. The Foundation is committed to raising funds for scholarships as well as providing equipment for programs beyond the scope of the school budget. More than 100 golfers participated in the Oct. 10 fundraiser.
