Following 400 hours of training at the Fire Academy at the Ocean County Training Center, Waretown, 24 graduates received their respective volunteer fire company badge during graduation ceremonies on June 2 at Central Regional High School in Bayville. Chief David McKay of the Pine Beach Fire Department gave the keynote address. Deputy Director of the Ocean County Board of Commissioners Frank Sadeghi congratulated the new firefighters on completing the academy training on behalf of all of the Commissioners. “Our sincere gratitude to the fire service community for everything that they do in protecting the residents of this great county,” Sadeghi said. “We extend our thanks the young men who have decided that they are willing to lay down their lives to protect us and our loved ones.” The following is a list of graduates and their respective fire companies: Joseph Amission, Lanoka Harbor Fire Department; Daniel Arnone, Colin Canaley, Stafford Township Fire Department; Colin Brennan, Mark Cioffi, Devon Faulds, Joshua Lacey, Barnegat Fire Department; Earl Thomas Corbin, Manitou Park Fire Department; Charlie Dominguez-Betancourt, Craig Farmer, Tristen Spear, Ryan Vanderham, Manchester Township Fire Department; Matthew S.
