Ending the Silence
Ocean County Commissioner Virginia E. Haines and Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer joined community leaders, advocates, and survivors at the Silent Witness Project hosted by Providence House at Georgian Court University on Oct. 29. This powerful event honored the lives lost to domestic violence and raised awareness about the resources available to those in need.
The life-sized silhouettes displayed at the event serve as solemn reminders of the real people behind the statistics and the urgent need to break the cycle of abuse.
