Joining the Ocean County Board of Commissioners
In a low key swearing in at the Ocean County Administration Building, Toms River, Ocean County’s newest Commissioners Sam Ellenbogen and Ray Gormley were administered the oath of office Jan. 2 signaling the beginning of their first three-year term on the Board. Commissioner Ellenbogen, joined by his wife Mimi, was administered the oath of office by Assignment Judge Hon. Francis R. Hodgson, Jr., and Commissioner Gormley, joined by his wife Dayna and Bill McGee, was sworn in by 9th District State Assemblyman Brian E. Rumpf and Melanie Szuba, Esq. The two new commissioners will also participate in the swearing in ceremony at the Board’s annual organization meeting scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Jan. 7 in Room 119 of the Ocean County Administration Building, Hooper Avenue, Toms River. Ocean County extends a warm welcome to Commissioners Ellenbogen and Gormley.
