New Community Café Welcomes Seniors

Barbara “Bobbi” Jo Crea, Director of the Ocean County Board of Commissioners, stopped by for the inaugural meal at Ocean County’s newest “Community Café” at the Little Egg Harbor Township Senior Center on September 10. Meals on Wheels of Ocean County will provide nutritious hot meals for seniors who wish to get out of the house and enjoy lunch in a community setting with friends and family. The Senior Lunch Social will take place every Tuesday starting at 11:30am at the LEHT Senior Center. If you would like to join, please register with Little Egg Harbor Township’s Recreation Director Kathy at 609-296-7241 ext. 251 or by email ktucker@leht.com. This is a free event for all seniors, but registration is required. More information on both home-delivered and community meals is available by calling the Ocean County Office of Senior Services at 732-929-2091.
