The Ocean County Board of Commissioners held its 2024 Reorganization meeting Jan. 3. Before a standing room only crowd, with loved ones by his side, Frank Sadeghi put his left hand on the Bible and was sworn into his first three-year term on the Board. A successful businessman and a long-time public servant, Commissioner Sadeghi brings years of leadership experience to the Board. He replaces long time Commissioner Joseph H. Vicari, who did not seek re-election in 2023. Also during the meeting, Ocean County Commissioner Barbara Jo Crea was appointed the 2024 Director and Ocean County Commissioner Gary Quinn was appointed the Board Deputy Director for 2024. “This Board is successful at providing good government because we work together collectively delivering valuable assistance through our programs and services to our taxpayers,” Crea told the meeting attendees.
