Happy 100th Anniversary Pine Beach
Noting it has been called the “Pearl of the Toms River,” the Ocean County Board of Commissioners recognized the small borough overlooking the southern bank of the Toms River on its 100th birthday March 25. In presenting a proclamation to Pine Beach Mayor Lawrence W. Cuneo, Ocean County Commissioner Jennifier Bacchione extended congratulations from the Board to the Borough and its residents for its outstanding contributions to Ocean County over the past century and wishing the community success in the years and decades to come. The Ocean County Board of Commissioners proclamation states the Borough of Pine Beach boasts a rich and proud history where residents hold fast to ongoing traditions to beautify and enhance their community. In addition to recognizing the Mayor and Council, Ocean County also acknowledged the Pine Beach Preservation Society for its work on the anniversary events.
