Thank You For Your Service

The Ocean County Board of Commissioners extended its appreciation to the many veterans that make up the Ocean County Government workforce. During a morning ceremony on the south lawn of the Ocean County Administration Building led by Director of the Board of Commissioners Barbara Jo Crea, a proclamation thanking the staff for their military service and continued service to the public and recognizing all veterans was read followed by the placement of a wreath at the Veteran’s Monument. Crea was joined by Commissioners Virginia E. Haines and Frank Sadeghi, the Director of the Ocean County Veterans Services Bureau George R.P. Zimmerman, Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer, state Sen. Carmen Amato in honoring our veterans and in stressing the importance of their sacrifices in preserving our freedoms.
