Upgraded Spaces, Enhanced Learning
On October 6, Ocean County Commissioners Frank Sadeghi and Virginia E. Haines joined the Ocean County Vocational Technical School (OCVTS) for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the newly upgraded OCVTS Brick Center, located at 350 Chambers Bridge Road. The project brought a fresh, modern look to the building while also improving its functionality and accessibility.
The exterior now features sleek metal panel siding, updated windows and doors, a welcoming paver courtyard with seating and lighting, new flag poles, and a canopy at the main entrance. The building’s signage was also enhanced, including a new digital reader board. Inside, the upgrades include a secure vestibule, a separate dining room entrance, a new ADA-compliant bathroom, and a fully renovated dining space with coffered ceilings, LED lighting, and fresh finishes.
These improvements were made possible through the generosity of the H. Hovnanian Foundation, and the support of the Ocean County Board of Commissioners, a true investment in the future of vocational education in Ocean County.
