Caring for Our Veterans

With Ocean County being home to the largest veterans population in New Jersey, the Ocean County Board of Commissioners welcomed the new Veterans Affairs Clinic to the neighborhood during a ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, November 18, 2024. The new 68,000 square-foot clinic, located on Hooper Avenue in Toms River, will enhance healthcare services for veterans in the region. Guests included local, state and federal officials including US Undersecretary for Health Dr. Shereff Elnahal, Senator Cory Booker, Senator-Elect Andy Kim, Rep. Chris Smith along with Director of the Ocean County Board of Commissioners Barbara Jo Crea, Deputy Director Gary Quinn, Commissioner Frank Sadeghi and Sheriff Michael G. Mastronardy.
