Celebrating Wellness 2026
On Wednesday, May 6, 2026, the Ocean County Mental Health Awareness Committee held “Celebrating Wellness,” a special program dedicated to highlighting the many activities our community has cultivated to reduce stigma, increase awareness of mental health conditions, and celebrate wellness and recovery.
Special thanks to Ocean County Commissioner Sam Ellenbogen for presenting a proclamation on behalf of the Ocean County Board of Commissioners to the Ocean County Mental Health Board, proclaiming May as Mental Health Awareness Month in Ocean County.
We also want to thank everyone who participated in the event, the NAMI Provider Fair, and our Community Advocate Awardees, and to congratulate all the winners of the “Creative Expression” and “What A Difference A Friend Makes” contests.
