In a low key swearing in at the Ocean County Administration Building, Toms River, Ocean County’s newest Commissioners Sam Ellenbogen and Ray Gormley were administered the oath of office Jan. 2 signaling the beginning of their first three-year term on the Board.
Decades of Dedication: Honoring Commissioners Kelly & Haines
On December 17, 2025, Ocean County bid farewell to two pillars of public service—Commissioners John P. “Jack” Kelly and Virginia “Ginny” E. Haines—during their final Board of Commissioners meeting.
