Pretty in Pink, Handsome in Blue

Ocean County Government was glowing in pink and blue on October 15 for “Pretty in Pink and Handsome in Blue Day” in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Employees throughout the County departments showed their support in style, and the Board of Commissioners officially proclaimed October as “Breast Cancer Awareness Month” in Ocean County during its Board meeting.

Upgraded Spaces, Enhanced Learning

On October 6, Ocean County Commissioners Frank Sadeghi and Virginia E. Haines joined the Ocean County Vocational Technical School (OCVTS) for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the newly upgraded OCVTS Brick Center, located at 350 Chambers Bridge Road.

Building Skills, Building Futures

On September 15, the Ocean County Commissioners Frank Sadeghi, Robert Arace and Jennifier Bacchione joined the Ocean County Vocational Technical School (OCVTS) for two ribbon-cutting ceremonies that celebrated opportunity and growth for students across Ocean County.

An Ocean County Welcome

Ocean County Commissioner Deputy Director Frank Sadeghi welcomed seven new Corrections Officers to Ocean County during a swearing in ceremony on Sept. 10. Sadeghi administered the oath to the new officers. In addition, five officers were sworn in to their new promotions.

Ocean County Remembers

Led by Ocean County Commissioner Deputy Director Frank Sadeghi, Ocean County’s annual Day of Remembrance Ceremony marked the 24th anniversary of the devastating events that unfolded on Sept. 11, 2001 at the World Trade Centers, the Pentagon and United Airlines Flight 93.
