As the Nation continues its multi-year commemoration of the 250th anniversary of America, the Ocean County Board of Commissioners joined with the Ocean County Cultural and Heritage Commission and the Ocean County Parks and Recreation Department in Ocean County’s annual Countdown to Independence celebration.

The Ocean County Board of Commissioners recently recognized Sarah Mangum, from Barnegat Township, as she pursues her Silver Award in Girl Scouting. 

Caring for Our Veterans

With Ocean County being home to the largest veterans population in New Jersey, the Ocean County Board of Commissioners welcomed the new Veterans Affairs Clinic to the neighborhood during a ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, November 18, 2024.
