The Ocean County Cultural and Heritage Commission, in conjunction with Ocean County College, presented the 14th annual Salute to Ocean County: A Celebration of Arts and Heritage at the College on May 15.
Built for Bravery
Following 400 hours of training at the Fire Academy at the Ocean County Training Center, Waretown, 24 graduates received their respective volunteer fire company badge during graduation ceremonies on June 2 at Central Regional High School in Bayville.
Safer Roads Ahead
Ocean County Commissioners Frank Sadeghi and Virginia E. Haines joined with Ocean County officials, Lakewood officials and project partners for a ribbon cutting ceremony on May 27 at the intersection of Cross Street and Augusta Boulevard in Lakewood Township, to celebrate the completion of the first phase of the Cross Street Improvement Project.
Street Smart
Law Enforcement officers and traffic safety officials from around Ocean County and the state gathered in Harvey Cedars prior to the Memorial Day weekend for the 2025 kickoff of Street Smart NJ.
