Ocean County is fortunate have a number of documentaries concerned what is Ocean County in the American Revolution. In 1976, the Ocean County Cultural & Heritage Commission and the Ocean County Historical Society combined to create A comprehensive dramatization of the March 24, 1782 incident. Oak Leaf Media recorded a rendition of Valarie Vaughn’s Song about protagonist John Bacon. Stockton University graduate and film maker Tori Robbins offers her take on the life, times and death of John Bacon.
