Ocean County is fortunate have a number of documentaries concerned what is Ocean County in the American Revolution. In 1976, the Ocean County Cultural & Heritage Commission and the Ocean County Historical Society combined to create A comprehensive dramatization of the March 24, 1782 incident. Oak Leaf Media recorded a rendition of Valarie Vaughn’s Song about protagonist John Bacon. Stockton University graduate and film maker Tori Robbins offers her take on the life, times and death of John Bacon. Soon to be linked to the seven (7) documentaries to be made by Oak Leaf Media from a grant from the National Park Service.
