Count Down for Independence

Each November since 2021, Ocean County Board of Commissioners hosts a formal commemoration of the American Revolution at historic Court Room #1.

The Themes have been:

• November 12, 2026  Declaration of Independence & 1776 NJ Constitution
• November 19, 2025   Lexington and Concord
• November 20, 2024   The First Continental Congress
• November 8, 2023   The Boston Tea Party
• November 9, 2022   The Boston Massacre
• November 10, 2021   Kickoff Under the Tent
