Ocean County Commissioner Joseph H. Vicari concluded his final meeting on Dec. 20, 2023 following 42 years of dedicated public service to the residents of Ocean County.
Celebrating The Festival of Lights
Joined with Ocean County residents and local officials, the Ocean County Board of Commissioners celebrated the first night of Hanukkah with the lighting of the menorah outside of the Ocean County Administration Building located on the corner of Washington Street and Hooper Avenue in Toms River.
‘Tis the Season
The Ocean County Board of Commissioners ushered in the holiday season at the annual Ocean County Christmas Tree lighting on Dec. 6.
Celebrating America’s History
Now in its third year, Ocean County’s celebration of the Countdown to the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution continued on Nov. 8, in Historic Courtroom 1 of the 1850 Ocean County Courthouse.
Dedicating History
In the Old Methodist Church Cemetery located on the corner of Washington Street and Hooper Avenue in Toms River, stands a new Patriot Burials plaque dedicated to the American Revolution Patriots buried in the cemetery.
