On September 15, the Ocean County Commissioners Frank Sadeghi, Robert Arace and Jennifier Bacchione joined the Ocean County Vocational Technical School (OCVTS) for two ribbon-cutting ceremonies that celebrated opportunity and growth for students across Ocean County.

An Ocean County Welcome

Ocean County Commissioner Deputy Director Frank Sadeghi welcomed seven new Corrections Officers to Ocean County during a swearing in ceremony on Sept. 10. Sadeghi administered the oath to the new officers. In addition, five officers were sworn in to their new promotions.

Ocean County Remembers

Led by Ocean County Commissioner Deputy Director Frank Sadeghi, Ocean County’s annual Day of Remembrance Ceremony marked the 24th anniversary of the devastating events that unfolded on Sept. 11, 2001 at the World Trade Centers, the Pentagon and United Airlines Flight 93.

Class 122: Ready to Serve

Ocean County Police Academy Basic Police Recruit Class No. 122 was recognized on Aug. 22 during a graduation ceremony at Toms River High School North, following the successful completion of five months of intensive training at the academy which is led by Ocean County Sheriff Michael G. Mastronardy.

Scoring Big with Inclusive Play

With ceremonially scissors in hand, Ocean County Commissioner Robert S. Arace, Chairman of the Ocean County Department of Parks and Recreation, was joined with Ocean County Commissioner Jennifier Bacchione, Jackson Township officials, and Mary Jane Bavais, Director of the Ocean County Department of Parks and Recreation during a ribbon cutting ceremony on Aug. 18 for the new playground at Patriots County Park, 485 Bowman Road, Jackson.
