Class 122: To Serve and Protect

Ocean County Police Academy Basic Police Recruit Class No. 122 was recognized on Aug. 22 during a graduation ceremony at Toms River High School North, following the successful completion of five months of intensive training at the academy which is led by Ocean County Sheriff Michael G. Mastronardy.

Scoring Big with Inclusive Play

With ceremonially scissors in hand, Ocean County Commissioner Robert S. Arace, Chairman of the Ocean County Department of Parks and Recreation, was joined with Ocean County Commissioner Jennifier Bacchione, Jackson Township officials, and Mary Jane Bavais, Director of the Ocean County Department of Parks and Recreation during a ribbon cutting ceremony on Aug. 18 for the new playground at Patriots County Park, 485 Bowman Road, Jackson.

Ocean County hosted the annual summer meeting for County and Municipal Consumer Agencies on Friday, July 18 to present key insights on protecting residents and tourists from becoming victims of Consumer Fraud.
