What We Support

IT supports all systems and applications used throughout the County such as:
  • 911 and Dispatch (used by both County and municipalities)
  • County Payroll and Finance
  • Sheriff’s Office Security Systems
  • Jail Systems
  • Prosecutors Systems

Mission

To plan, manage, support and provide technology consulting, system development, Internet, strategic planning, data center services, application development, support and network services to County of Ocean's departments and agencies.

What We Maintain

The IT department supports over 75 County departments and agencies in the following areas:

  • Maintain and support over 2,000 computers and 250 servers
  • Maintain a highly secure and reliable network infrastructure
  • Maintain system and data back-ups
  • Disaster Recovery
  • Development of windows and web applications
  • Database administration for the over 100 databases
  • Evaluate and implement new and emerging technologies
  • IT training for County employees
  • Manage the IT procurement for the County to ensure standard and cost effective IT solutions are procured
