The Ocean County Board of Commissioners and the Toms River Fire Department Company #1 will hold A Day of Remembrance Ceremony at 9 a.m., Friday, Sept. 11 at the Sept. 11 Memorial in the courtyard by 129 Hooper Ave., Toms River.
Please join the us as we come together to remember the tragic events and lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001. Nineteen Ocean County residents were among the almost 3,000 people that perished that day and countless others have died as a result of Sept. 11 illnesses. We also remember the men and women of the military that were lost during the War on Terror and continue to fight to keep us safe.
