Ocean County Press Release

OCEAN COUNTY residents should be vigilant concerning the weather system that may bring potential rain and strong wings to the area on Saturday, April 1.

"With the possibility of strong winds that could bring down trees and branches, our local power companies have crews on standby to address any potential damage," said the Director of the Ocean County Board of Commissioners Joseph H. Vicari. "Our residents are reminded to be careful during the inclement weather and to report power outages if needed."

Residents who are FirstEnergy customers can report service interruptions by texting "OUT" to LIGHTS (544487), clicking the "Report Outage" link on www.firstenergycorp.com or by calling 1-888-LIGHTSS (1-888-544-4877).

For those who are Atlantic City Electric customers, to report outages and/or downed wires, call 1-800-833-7476, follow the prompts, and ask for a call back to confirm that power has been restored. Outages also may be reported through their mobile app or at atlanticcityelectric.com/storm.
