OCEAN COUNTY, home to 44 miles of sandy beaches, u-pick farms, amusement parks, lively downtowns, fine dining and fast food establishment, and bustling boardwalks, is a popular recreational and leisure destination attracting thousands of visitors each summer season.

To learn more about what Ocean County has to offer, the 2024 Ocean County Travel Guide is now available in both print and digital formats, announced Ocean County Commission Frank Sadeghi, liaison to the Ocean County Office of Business Development and Tourism.

"I want to encourage our residents and visitors alike to visit our tourism website at OceanCountyTourism.com to access the Travel Guide online or request a complimentary paper copy by mail," Sadeghi said.

The public can request a paper copy of the travel guide by calling 732-929-2000.

Sadeghi added the 19-page guide is filled with colorful photos and information on places to go and things to do while in Ocean County.

"The guide contains our QR codes leading you back to our tourism website where you can find additional information on attractions and upcoming events," Sadeghi said. "Ocean County has something for everyone and we want to make sure people know about it all."

He added that the guide's cover features a photo of Viking Village in Barnegat Light taken by Justin McNeil the winner of the annual Travel Guide Cover Photo Contest.

"From the colorful fishing boats to their reflection on the water, this cover photo is a wonderful representation of the vibrant fishing industry in Ocean County," Sadeghi said. "It illustrates just one of many facets that draws people to Ocean County."

Sadeghi said the Office of Business Development and Tourism also has an active social media presence and is currently offering a "virtual road trip" through Ocean County's 33 municipalities.

"Once you access the QR code on the travel guide you can also get to our Facebook and Instagram pages which offers a variety of informational posts that highlight Ocean County," Sadeghi said. "We like to say when it comes to Ocean County one visit is never enough. Once you see this guide you will understand why."

Director of the Ocean County Board of Commissioners Barbara Jo Crea encouraged the public to request the travel guide as it can be used through the seasons.

"More than just a warm weather destination, Ocean County has much to offer during the spring, fall and winter seasons," Crea said. "This guide will help you plan your stay in Ocean County any time of the year."
