Ocean County – FFY 2025 Section 5310 Grant Application
Notice is hereby given that the County of Ocean has made an application to NJ TRANSIT for the Ocean County Department of Transportation Services is eligible to compete for Operating and Vehicle Assistance. The Operating funds would be used to apply for driver salaries for our Reserve-A-Ride and deviated Fixed Route services. The Vehicle assistance request for FFY 2925 is for six (6) wheelchair accessible minibuses to replace aging minibuses in the fleet and to provide transportation to senior citizens and/or people with disabilities in Ocean County, New Jersey. This project will be partially funded with FTA 5310 funds under a grant submitted to the Federal Transit Administration.
