NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF GRANT FUNDS AND REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS - COUNTY HISTORY PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Ocean County Cultural & Heritage Commission is accepting applications for funding under the County History Partnership Program for the [2027] grant year.
The County History Partnership Program provides funding to eligible organizations located in and primarily serving Ocean County for activities that promote public awareness, appreciation, and understanding of Ocean County and New Jersey history. Available funding categories include General Operating Support, Joint Operating Support, and Special Project Support.
Eligible applicants may include nonprofit organizations recognized under Section 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(19) of the Internal Revenue Code, units of local government, and institutions of higher education. Applicants must have been in existence and primarily serving Ocean County for at least two years, remain current with applicable federal and State filing requirements, and satisfy all additional eligibility requirements contained in the grant guidelines.
Applications must be submitted electronically through the County''s Online Procurement Portal no later than Thursday, October 8, 2026, prevailing time. Paper, emailed, faxed, or late applications will not be accepted.

Questions concerning the program or application requirements must be submitted through the question-and-answer feature of the Online Procurement Portal by Friday, September 18, 2026 at 12:00 pm. Applicants shall not rely upon oral interpretations or information provided outside the Procurement Portal.
All awards are subject to the availability of funds, review and recommendation by the Ocean County Cultural & Heritage Commission, approval by the Ocean County Board of Commissioners, and execution of a grant agreement. The County reserves the right to reject incomplete or nonresponsive applications, request clarification or additional documentation, award an amount less than requested, impose special conditions, or make no award when determined to be in the best interests of the County or the program.
Applicants and grant recipients must comply with all applicable federal and State laws, regulations, program requirements, nondiscrimination provisions, accessibility requirements, insurance requirements, reporting obligations, and the terms and conditions of the grant agreement.
