No musical training required! New Jersey’s Troubadour and 2024 Heritage Fellowship
Award recipient; Valerie Vaughn, will sing her original story songs about the Revolutionary War in our area. Then, she will discuss how she writes her lyrical tales and help you
learn how you can also be a song writer or lyricist by juggling words and rhymes into
songs! As Valerie says, “Every song tells a story and there’s a story behind every song.” A
pad and pencil would be helpful!
