Arts Organizations:

On September 30th, the Ocean County Arts Network will have their first social event. The goal of the event is to encourage artists to interact with each other, and to provide informational documents for them about the various organizations that support art and arts in our county. We are inviting you to participate in whichever of the following options works best for you:

Provide documents (flyers, leaflets, etc) that explain what your organization does for artists, and how artists can learn more about you.

Here’s a bit more about the actual event: The Social will go from 6-8pm, and will be at the TRAC Gallery space at 40 Main St. We will have beverages and snacks. We are calling this the “Give/Get Social” .

Ask artists to bring something for our “Mystery Bag” challenge, which involves bringing in something that “instigates” their art (such as flower petals from someone who uses them to make art) and then swapping that with someone else’s “instigator.”
