Job Duties

•	Fire Investigations: Conduct origin and cause investigations for fires to determine the source and circumstances of incidents.
•	Juvenile Firesetter Program: Assist in the management of the Juvenile Firesetter Program to prevent fire setting behaviors in young individuals.
•	New Jersey Fire Code Inspections: Conduct regular inspections in accordance with the New Jersey Fire Code to ensure safety in commercial properties.
•	Training: Assist with training programs at the Ocean County Fire Academy, providing instruction and guidance to fire service personnel.
•	Fire Prevention Programs: Engage with the public and local organizations to promote fire safety education and prevention programs throughout Ocean County.
•	Large Scale Incident Support: Assist with Staging Area and Accountability at large-scale emergency incidents, ensuring effective coordination and resource management.
•	Emergency Management Support: Assist Ocean County Emergency Management with response efforts during large-scale emergencies, supporting incident commanders and fire chiefs.
