Behavioral Health Programs:

Bright Harbor Healthcare’s EMBRACE Program offers grief support groups where parents, children, adolescents, young adults, and families can openly share their experiences following a loss. For more information, call 732-349-3535 x707 or email embrace@brightharbor.org.

Ocean Partnership for Children’s Social Connections Program fosters wellness behaviors and promotes peer connections amongst youth and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. For more information, call 732-202-1585.


Employment & Training Programs:

Mental Health Association’s Opioid Affected Individuals Program provides work-related activities to residents with opioid use disorder such as, but not limited to, life/career skills, career counseling, on-the-job training, resume help, and technology training. St. Francis Community Center’s Older Worker Upskill Program provides work-related activities to residents (age 55+) who have retired from one career or been laid off after a lengthy employment and need to seek sustainable employment. For more information, call 732-281-8653.


Food Insecurity Programs

Bright Harbor Healthcare’s The Nook provides services that include but are not limited to food and pet pantry supplies, community dining, mobile food delivery, food recovery network, and wellness services. For more information, call 732-349-5550 x289 or email thenook@brightharbor.org.

Lakewood Community Services Corp provides kosher home delivered meals and emergency food vouchers to residents struggling with food insecurity. For more information, call 732-901-6001 or email info@thelcsc.org.

Mental Health Association’s Feed the Need Program offers assistance to Ocean County residents who are food insecure through pantry deliveries, grocery needs, and fresh produce; as well as immediate basic necessity needs, referrals, resources and linkages to any other supports needed. Tomchei Shabbos offers a weekly and monthly distribution program that provides residents with a full month’s supply of basic food stables and essentials, and a food voucher program that provides food vouchers redeemable at local supermarkets and grocers. Housing Programs:

Affordable Housing Alliance (AHA) provides emergency shelter, transitional housing, rapid rehousing, prevention, case management, and benefits navigation services for residents who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. For more information, call 732-341-2272.

Community Health Law Project’s Eviction, Foreclosure and Homelessness Prevention Legal Services Program provides comprehensive outreach, advocacy, and legal aid to individuals with disabilities and senior citizens facing housing instability. Mental Health Association’s The HOPE Project assists residents (age 18+) with non-clinical case management, budgeting, fiscal literacy, employment linkages and training, housing benefit navigation, group support, socialization, and transportation. Resource Navigation & Care Coordination Programs:

Mental Health Association’s Ocean Allies Resource Center is a program offering non-clinical care management for the aging and disability resource center (ADRC) that assists individuals with disabilities (age 18+) and senior citizens find resources and linkages. Mental Health Association’s ROOTS Program offers guidance and support to individuals (age 18+) and their families residing that need assistance with any type of benefit navigation, as well as one-to-one case management, group support, and community outreach.
