The Ocean County Board of Commissioners is proud to proclaim the month of March as Women's History Month and Developmental Disability Awareness Month.

Women's History Month
This year's theme, "Leading the Change: Women Shaping a Sustainable Future," expands the concept of sustainability to include environmental, economic, social justice, and community resilience, leadership succession, and inter-generational equity, highlighting the role of women in creating systems that support both people and the planet.

Developmental Disability Awareness Month
Developmental Disability Awareness Month encourages all residents to recognize the valuable contributions of individuals with developmental disabilities and take proactive steps in fostering an inclusive community where everyone can thrive.
