Scrap Metal / Automobiles

Scrap metal DOES NOT belong with your single stream recyclables and can do serious damage to processing equipment at the Northern Recycling Center. For this reason, scrap metal should be taken to private disposal facilities for proper recycling (often times these facilities will pay in exchange for scrap metal).

Provided below is a list of several scrap metal recycling companies both in and around Ocean County. Because each company may differ on what they will and will not accept, it is recommended you contact them directly in order to receive proper information on their recycling services.
