Looking to dispose of your natural Christmas Tree? In Ocean County, your Trees are turned into mulch! Every Christmas for the last 20 years, in addition to our Recycling Centers, the Ocean County Parks & Recreation have collected trees after the holiday season, making it more convenient for Ocean County Residents to dispose of their trees. Last year, more than 1,400 trees were collected at the Ocean County Park sites. The mulch is used at the county for landscaping, slope stabilization at Ocean County Natural Lands sites, and trail work throughout the Ocean County Park system.
