Tire Recycling Program
For a fee, Ocean County accepts tires (without rims) at the County's Recycling Centers between 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Both centers accept up to 5 tires per resident per day, at a cost of $2 per tire. Only tires no larger than a truck tire, and no smaller than 13 inches, shall be accepted. Bicycle, motorcycle, or stock car tires are NOT accepted. - Northern Recycling center located at 601 New Hampshire Avenue, Lakewood, NJ Drop off at building 68. - Southern Recycling Center located at 379 Haywood Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050 Drop off at building 105.
