Technical assistance services are available as staff time and resources permit:
Information: The staff responds to inquiries from the general public, as well as teachers, historical and art organizations, students, the media, and lawmakers, about a variety of cultural and heritage subjects. Please fill out the
Research Request Form to request assistance in this area.
Referrals: The staff may also direct inquiries to other sources for information about local history, historic preservation, genealogy, professional artists, arts organizations, arts presenters, and funding.
Assistance: The staff is happy to sit down with Ocean County artists, historians, and organizations to discuss issues pertinent to the field. The Commission staff will seek to answer the question to the best of their ability or refer the request onto another organization better able to assist.
Toolkits: Publications, such as the StEPs workbook, technical leaflets, and other associated materials can be requested by Ocean County nonprofits who have not already received these items while supplies last. The Commission has also worked to assemble a tool kit to answer many common nonprofit questions. View Toolkit [.pdf]
Education: Educational seminars, talks, and workshops are presented for the benefit of the general public.
